A while back, a patient told me all those who got the mRNA COVID-19 vaccine would be dead in a year. Well, a year has passed and all of us who got the vaccine are still kicking. I wonder what that patient is saying now. I’m guessing she believes we are not out of the woods—our demise is postponed, kind of like the end of the world is postponed every so often by gullible people.

mRNA COVID-19 vaccine not tied to increased risk of autoimmune, autoinflammatory disease
Healio (5/25, Young) reports, “The mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine did not significantly increase the risk of autoimmune or autoinflammatory diseases,” according to research. The type of mRNA vaccine used, “age and cross-vaccination status were not independently associated with increased risk of disease outcomes.” Results show that “only ANCA-associated vasculitis was associated with an increased risk in vaccinated female participants, although the researchers cautioned this finding ‘requires careful interpretation’ since the number of events was very small.” The findings were published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
